Dairy Industry Skills Courses

Reaseheath Food Centre has a state of the art dairy training facility where we can deliver practical and theory training to up skill dairy processors from operators, engineers and process managers. Agored Cymru Level 2 Award in Dairy Industry Operations

The Agored Cymru Level 2 Award in Dairy Industry Operations will give learners a solid grounding in knowledge of working in the dairy industry Learners will have developed a strong level of product knowledge and understanding which will enable them to make an immediate, productive and positive contribution to their employer and will be empowered to progress to further learning experiences.

On completion of this qualification, learners will have developed knowledge and understanding of the key principles within the dairy industry and optional specialist areas, such as cheese making or butter production, as well as having a knowledge of materials used within the dairy industry. Learners also have the opportunity to learn about the concepts of continuous improvement and sustainability. This qualification is ideal for those beginning a career in the dairy industry, and is only available through Agored Cymru recognised centres.

Learners can progress to Level 3 qualifications within the dairy industry or to competence based qualifications at Level 2, where they will apply their knowledge and understanding within a workplace environment.
